Goldberg played college football as a nose guard for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He later played pro ball with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams. A knee injury ended his football career. He went 173-0 until losing to Kevin Nash in late 1998. Goldberg's girlfriend knew Lex Luger and Sting. The talked him into becoming a wrestler. Goldberg made his debut in a match against Hugh Morrus. Morrus tried the moonsault but Goldberg replied with his Jackhammer. Goldberg then went on an unparalled winning streak. It ended in after Bam Bam Bigelow, Disco Inferno and Scott Hall interfered and shocked him with a stun gun. Later Nash laid down for Hulk Hogan and the rest is history. Goldber stormed the ring and his feud with the NWO was spawned. The Hitman Bret Hart claimed he could beat Goldberg in 5 minutes. Later on, Goldberg speared Bret Hart while Hart was wearing a steal vest. It knocked Goldberg out and Hart rolled him over for the three count in an act of severe mocking. Goldberg has promised to get Hart. I will end with just one statement from Goldberg. |
